We are a Husband / Wife Team, with twenty-five years of experience. Our studio was established in the 'local area' in 1989 as 'Stephen Jones Photography'. We still maintain that presence as a separate entity when dealing with corporate clients outside of the 'wedding' genre.

We respect and appreciate the importance of your Wedding Day and watch carefully for the joyful, the spontenious and the crazy moments. We are really good at capturing those romantic glances, those 'looks across the crowded room', the gentle touch, the secret kiss. And, heck, sometimes you just wanna have fun! We practice a no limits philosophy when it comes to coverage of your day. We are with you all the way assisting with our extensive creative and technical resources. We want your day to be perfect! . . . and fun! . . . and for those of you who want some 'hardcore, downright spiritual and (if I do say so myself), insightlful philosophy', . . . here it is.

Tell me about your coverage and your style.

It is our goal to have two photographers at every event. That allows for the most complete coverage possible. During a wedding, depending upon the time involved, we may shoot 800 - 1200 images, this is the equivalent of 22 - 33 rolls of film! We edit these to the best 450 - 550. Shooting this many images allows us to accomodate varying tastes in style. We prefer to shoot in what is commonly referred to as the 'photojournalistic / documentary' style, but we also provide; posed family formals, romantic portraiture and group shots. We like to refer to our art as rendered in a 'blended' style - incorporating the artistic, positive elements of both traditional and contemporary photography. Because of the number and variety of images we provide you can 'customize' your look depending upon the images that you select.

We provide your images on a Private Preview Website. Your friends and family may enjoy the trendy artsy images, or the more traditional ones. We like to provide opportunities for varying tastes within your community of family and friends.

Tell me more about the 'Private Preview Website?'

Three to four weeks after your wedding we will provide your images on a secure private website for viewing. We will give you the I.D. necessary for access. It is up to you to provide the 'I.D.' to whomever you would like to also have access to your preview website. On the website you may view your images singley, as a slide show, even change the previews to black and white. The website also has a shopping cart feature which eliminates the need for you to pass around your proofs to endless lists of relatives. With that feature you may also order thank-you, or Christmas cards. This site also provides the opportunity for those who could not attend to logon and be 'virtual' guests.
